IMPORTANT APPLICANT INFORMATION

Spring 2016: Closed the deadline was September 30, 2015.  Applications for Spring 2017 will open August 1, 2016.

Fall 2016: Fall 2016 CLOSED Sunday December 6, 2015 - for California students that are First Time Freshman and Upper Division Transfer Students. 

- The application will remain OPEN for Veterans, Returning Students, International students, Graduate students, and All Out-of-State Undergraduate students (First Time Freshman and Upper Division Transfer).

Graduate student deadlines vary, please check with the Master's program office.

HSU is not accepting applications from lower division transfers.

Graduate, Credential, Certificate of Study and International applicants have separate and/or additional requirements. Check with specific departments for deadlines. Apply here.

Admissions

Apply to HSU online by visiting csumentor.edu. We'll contact you if we need your transcripts.

Be sure to check residency eligibility before you apply.

Check Status

About 1 week after you submit your application, you will get an email from the Office of Admissions that explains how to log in to my humboldt.  We recommend you check your myHumboldt account at least once a week for important updates and To do List items.

Housing

Apply for on-campus housing using the online housing application. If you want to live off campus, check out the listings.

Financial Aid

The first step in applying for financial aid is to fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). File your FAFSA by March 2nd for priority review.
