Staff & Management Positions

The Human Resources office (located in Siemens Hall, Room 212) has a computer station and front office staff available for applicants requiring assistance.  On average, the recruitment process lasts four to six weeks from the close date.  Direct any questions to (707) 826-3626 or hr@humboldt.edu.

Probationary Faculty and Part-time/Full-time Temporary Faculty Positions

Each vacancy announcement has a section that contains a list of application materials that should be submitted directly through Interfolio to complete the application. All materials should be submitted and finalized prior to the first review date detailed on each vacacny announcement.

Please Note: The successful candidate for a position at Humboldt is required to undergo a background check. If the position is a sensitive position involving minors, the successful candidate is required to be fingerprinted through the Cal Poly Humboldt Police Department (UPD) or their local law enforcement agency. The costs of the background check and fingerprinting are borne by the University. UPD offers Live Scan services Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
