About the Program
The HSU CIRM 2.0 Bridges Program is one of 14 programs throughout the state designed to train the next generation of scientists to accelerate the development of stem cell therapies to patients with unmet medical needs.
HSU students who have completed the prerequisite requirements can register for pre-internship coursework designed to provide hands on training in stem cell research and meaningful awareness of regenerative medicine. Participating students are eligible to apply for a 12-month paid research internship at one of the three host institutions: Stanford University Center for Human Embryonic Stem Cell Research and Education, University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) Institute for Regenerative Medicine and University of California, Davis Stem Cell Program. This competitive program can support up to 10 interns/year.
