Stone Lagoon Canoe Campout

April 18 - 19
This weekend trip will take place at one of Humboldt Lagoon State Park’s lagoons. We will spend the day paddling across the lagoon in canoes. The rest of the trip will consist of hiking to the beach, paddling around the lagoon or swimming. The evening will consist of preparing dinner, watching the sunset, socializing at the campfire and sleeping outdoors with the waves crashing in the background. This is truly a unique way of spending the weekend with a new group of people in a beautiful and majestic environment.

Moonrise Paddle

May 2, May 30 & July 31
Come for a Saturday evening paddle and watch the moon rise through the Humboldt Bay mist. We provide a choice of kayak or canoe and experienced guides to run these short hour and a half adventures.

Graduation Paddle

May 17
Come celebrate your hard work with your family and friends with a relaxing paddle on the Humboldt Bay. This tour will give you the seals-eye view of our local treasures; from Eureka Waterfront to Woodley Marina and beyond. We take kayaks and canoes for this brief morning or afternoon paddle.

Kinetic Paddle

May 24
Watch from a canoe or kayak as the brave kinetic sculpture pilots launch their all-terrain human powered art sculpture vessels into the Humboldt Bay as they race towards their next destination in the renowned Kinetic Sculputure Championship.

Canoe the Slough

June 27
We will launch our canoes from the Humboldt Bay Aquatic Center and travel up the beautiful Freshwater Slough. As we paddle through this riparian habiat rich with wildlife, you will get the opportunity to spot some of the thousands of birds claimed to feed and nest in this scenic wetland. Bring packable snacks and binoculars if you have them.
