Welcome to the exciting world of kayaking. This class is designed for beginners to learn the fundamentals of kayaking that can be used either in a sea or river kayaking setting. This includes an orientation to kayaking equipment, boat handling, paddle technique, and water safety. This course gives participants an introduction to the sport and a starting point towards developing skills that can be applied to both sea and river kayaking. Our guides provide instruction and support in a relaxed environment while touring Humboldt Bay.

$45 HSU Students • $55 All Others

3.5-hour session, instruction and gear
