Intermediate Sailing

April 30 - May 1

This class is designed to get you back on the water and take the skills learned in Introduction to Sailing a step further. The Coronado, a 15-foot sailboat, will be utilized to become more proficient in your sailing techniques and learn the lines of a larger sea craft. The course will also cover water safety, navigation, and the basics of how to sail on your own.

Mandatory Pre-trip Meeting: 
Thursday • April 28 • 6:00 PM • Recreation & Wellness Center Room 122
Prerequisite: 
Participants must have completed Introduction to Sailing within the last year. If you completed the Introduction course more than one year ago, Sailing Refresher Course is required, or instructor approval.
Program Fee: 
$140 HSU Students • $155 All Others. Receive a $20 discount on Intermediate Sailing if you sign up for Introduction to Sailing or Sailing Refresher & Play Day.
Program Fee Includes: 
Instruction, sailboat & equipment, lifejackets and wetsuit
Notes: 
Transportation will be by carpool. Camping at Big Lagoon is optional.
