ACA River Kayak Instructor Certification (Levels 1-2)

March 15,16 & 17
This course is designed to develop instructional and personal paddling technique, and certifies you to teach introductory level kayak classes to the highest standard. The class will take place on flat water and class 1 moving water.  We will cover safety skills, coaching theory, and promoting good habits to create an atmosphere for successful new kayakers! Learn teaching progressions, perfect your strokes, and develop your critical eye.

The ACA is known throughout the world as the industry standard in whitewater instruction. Here is your opportunity to get a job doing what you love!
 
Prerequisite: 
Introduction to Kayak Rolling Encouraged
Program Fee: 
Level 1: $180 HSU Students • $200 All others; Level 2: $280 HSU Students • $300 All others
Day and Time: 
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday • 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
