Hebrew Reading

February 8 - March 29
This is a six week crash course in learning to read the Hebrew language. This will include the 22 letters of the alphabet their vowels and how to conjugate them together. Additionally this course will include esoteric explanations behind the letters and vowels.

Introduction to Archery

February 14

Introduction to Archery is open to archers of every skill level. This course is designed to introduce beginning archers to the basic fundamentals of the sport in accordance with the National Training System; this includes: proper posture and alignment, aiming, the release and follow through. This class will utilize the hands-on application of using a bow and arrow in conjunction with demonstrations and lectures. This course will also discuss the proper care and use of archery equipment.

Participants will need to bring $5 on the day of the class to pay for equipment rental

First Time Home Buyer's Seminar

March 2 – 11
Learn everything you need to know about buying your first home including how to find your home, how to finance it, and how to inspect it. Learn about escrow, offers, negotiations, contracts, insurance, taxes and more. Phillip Lazzar is a California licensed real estate broker with 30 years experience. He is a member of the Humboldt Association of Realtors, the California Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors. He is looking forward to answering all of your questions.

Essential Oil Fundamentals: How to Incorporate Essential Oils into Your Life

March 30 - May 4
Essential oils are the life-blood of plants, and for this reason, they are powerful tools for enhancing wellbeing.  Because scents affect each person differently, essential oils are most profoundly worked with experientially; for this reason, we will smell and compare many oils throughout the course.  We will begin by examining how essential oils affect the body and the mind. We will cover how they have been used for thousands of years in Ayurvedic medicine and ancient cultures to promote health.  You will leave with a strong knowledge of the basics of aromatherapy. You will have tools for working therapeutically with emotional states such as depression and insomnia, as well as recipes for general first aid and household uses. This four-week series will build on the information learned in the Essential Oil Basics class, but can be taken separately if you already have a basic understanding of essential oils.
