Graduate Forest Ecology Research Network (FERN)

The purpose for this organization is to provide graduate students in the environmental sciences an interdisciplinary forum where they can engage with peers, faculty, and professionals in scientific research and endeavors. Purpose and objectives FERN's objectives are: - Create an interdisciplinary forum for graduate students in the field of forest ecology where members can present research, discuss scientific papers, provide feedback, and promote dissemination of information for scientific research studies. - Provide financial and logistical support for club members to participate in academic conferences. - Host and collaborate with scientific professionals to give workshops and training sessions on methodology and tools pertinent to interrelated research. Membership Qualifications

FERN is for graduate students at Humboldt State University with research related to ecology and/or environmental science.
Undergraduates, however, are highly encouraged to connect with us and attend events or guest lectures.
