Have an event or a conference, and you need a location to host it? Have your event at Humboldt State University! HSU is nestled on California's Redwood Coast, surrounded by miles of beaches, forests, and rivers. On-campus we have traditional housing, apartments and suites available for your overnight guests. We have many meeting and event spaces available on campus ‐ for both large and small groups, formal meetings, and recreational activities. Classrooms, meeting rooms, a theatre, and banquet rooms are all available depending on your conference needs.
Whether your conference is an athletic camp, academic program, family reunion, or an outdoor adventure, we have many options to meet your needs.
We have many meal options available. We have a Dining Hall offering breakfast, lunch and dinner, including hot entrées with vegetarian options, soup bar, salad bar, fruit and yogurt and fountain beverages.
Would your group like to go out for a hike or to the beach? Planning an off campus excursion? We can help you plan a fun adventure through Center Activities or by providing many activity based options.
Is the Dining Hall option for breakfast, not the best accommodation for your group? Have breakfast waiting for your participants at their first session. Anything from a continental breakfast, to full breakfast spread with hot entrees. Taking your group out on an adventure? Why not take a boxed lunch for a fieldtrip or have an outdoor BBQ dinner? We can provide that too!
Guests can take a break from their conference and take advantage of our gym with a weight room and cardio machines, or play a game of volleyball on the sand volleyball court, or maybe a game of Frisbee on the lawn. All of these recreational activities are complementary to our housing guests. We also have a recreation room with pool tables, ping-pong, and arcade games available for guests.
Just let us know what your conference needs are, and we will help you plan a great event!
