Dr. Mary Glenn
Mary Glenn comes to the College of Professional Studies from the Department of Anthropology, where she was Professor and the Co-Director of the Humboldt Center for Evolutionary Anthropology. She is also a Senior Research Scientist at the Windward Islands Research and Education Foundation, based in Grenada.
At HSU, she has served as Anthropology Department Chair, as a member on the Board of Directors for the University Advancement Foundation and the Cabinet for Institutional Change, and has worked extensively in the areas of international program development and undergraduate research.
Her research spans several areas within anthropology and includes a focus on the African slave trade to the Caribbean. Mary has led field programs for students in more than 15 countries, and plans to take a group of HSU students to Poland next July.
