Duncan Robins enjoys coaching, mentoring and teaching about leadership and management excellence in Humboldt State's Business Department and in his private practice. Mr. Robins has lead numerous organizations through transformative change and has been the President/CEO of seven different companies in diverse industries, including leading a for-profit education company that managed eight campuses and numerous programs for Johns Hopkins, Skidmore, Fairleigh Dickinson and Clark Universities. And in 2010, Inc. Magazine named a web-based training company he helped found "one of the 100 fastest growing private companies in the U.S."
Mr. Robins is a member of Humboldt State's Advancement Foundation Board serving on its Finance Committee. Mr. Robins has worked in M&A and Corporate Finance for Morgan Stanley in New York City and Melbourne, Australia. He has also been a member of turn-around teams while consulting for McKinsey (Chicago) and Bain & Co (San Francisco). Mr. Robins has coached and/or captained teams in four different sports to national or international championships. He graduated summa cum laude from Harvard and earned an MBA from Stanford. Mr. Robins has also written two books on organizational transformation.
