New Faculty in the College of Professional Studies

New CPS Faculty

The College of Professional Studies is pleased to welcome eight new faculty members for 2017-2018.

The School of Business welcomes Li Qu from Florida Atlantic University and brings an expertise in Accounting to the department.

The School of Education welcomes Libbi Miller from California State University, Fresno and brings extensive experience in teacher preparation and K-12 education.

The Kinesiology and Recreation Administration department welcomes two new faculty; Whitney Ogle joins us from Indiana State Univeristy with a focus on motor behavior and Jill Pawlowski who comes to us from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor with a focus on exercise science.

The Department of Psychology welcomes two new faculty; Frank DeMatteo from Marywood University will be heading the School Psychology program and Brandylynn Villarreal from the University of California, Irvine bringing an interest practice informed by research on motivation and the importance of perceived control in higher education

The Department of Social Work welcomes Heather Gough from the University of Nevada in Reno who brings a background in law and justice studies to the department and Jamie Jensen who is transitioning from long time lecturer in the department here at HSU to full time faculty after studying human and organizational systems.
