Jacqueline Honda Ed.D.
Dr. Honda is the Associate Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs at the University of Hawai’i-West O’ahu. Honda oversees the campus’ institutional research and assessment, faculty and professional development, as well as curricular and co-curricular program reviews, accreditation, and administrative areas including course scheduling, lecturer and faculty hiring, and other duties. Dr. Honda also serves as the Director of the HSU IR Graduate Certificate and the primary faculty for PSYC 550, 551, and 552.
Dr. Honda holds a bachelor degree in Japanese Studies from the State University of New York, a Master’s in Asian Pacific Liberal Arts from the University of San Francisco, a Master’s in Demographics and Social Analysis from the University of California Irvine and a Doctorate of Education from the University of California Los Angeles.
Dr. Honda has an extensive background in institutional research and as a faculty member. She has experience working in the California Community College, California State University, the University of California and the University of Hawaii. She has taught at both at the University of Hawaii, Manoa and at Humboldt State University.
