Creating Accessible Documents from Scanned Images That Will Be Uploaded to Moodle
- If you need assistance creating accessible documents from scanned images, contact the ONCORES office in the Library. Library staff are there to assist faculty in creating accessible online course reserves.
Confidentiality in the accommodation process is the responsibility of all parties. SDRC cannot divulge specifics about a student's disability, and faculty should maintain confidentiality as well. It is important that faculty do not discuss a student's disability or accommodation request with other faculty or students or discuss an accommodation request in class. Some students will be comfortable discussing and sharing details about their disability; however, some students wish to keep such information private. Regardless of the student's comfort-level in discussing his or her disability with you, the decision to disclose disability-related information should be the student's decision.
