Biography: 

In 2022, the Bob Dickerson-Frank Jewett Economics Faculty Research Fellowship was created in honor of Bob Dickerson and Frank Jewett, with funding generously provided by Humboldt alumni Don Lewis.

Bob Dickerson passed away in Blue Lake, California on December 7, 2011. Born May 10, 1921 in New Jersey, Bob grew up on the east coast, graduated from Georgetown University and received his MA and PhD from UCLA before joining the Cal Poly Humboldt faculty in 1959 as professor of economics. Bob was a WWII veteran of the Army Air Corps. He will be remembered by many as a runner and founding member and of the Six Rivers Running Club.
