There are many programs designed to help organize projects, ideas and to help visually diagram processes. However, one application that I have consistently returned to is Gliffy. This application is flash and web based which means just about any computer connected to the internet can run it. Like many web 2.0 applications, Gliffy has an easy entry point with its free version.
Faculty can use Gliffy to convey simple to complex ideas or processes visually. Students can do the same.
Visit http://www.gliffy.com to give it a try.
