How Can Camtasia Relay Work for You?
The College of Professional Studies has a new tool called Camtasia Relay, available for faculty to use in their courses.
Camtasia Relay is a simple tool that allows you to make short video demonstrations of applications, documents or anything else on your computer screen. You may also record yourself via webcam and/or headset. The videos are processed and then sent to YouTube or Screencast.com. These videos can then be shared your students directly or embed right into Moodle.
The full version of Camtasia Relaycan be installed on your Mac or PC. There is also a version available for your iPhone, Ipad or Droid. Click here to watch a brief demo of Camtasia Relay. The software can be downloaded from the Distributed Learning Website, under the “Campus Resources” Tab. (http://humboldt.edu/dl)
To set up a demo and to request a Camtasia Relay account please contact Margaret Arroyo at ext. 6344.
