This supervised position will provide an environmental engineering or computer sciences student with an experience in a unique and challenging energy industry / environmental setting and opportunity for hands on problem solving skill development.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities will include some or all of the following:

• Optimize and maintain a Loggernet based data acquisition system that collects and processes ambient air quality and meteorological data from a network of five remote stations.
• Administer, verify, and validate SQL server data.
• Monitor data and prepare Air Quality reports summarizing realtime as well as long term trends
• Complete SharePoint Web Site Design, roll out and demonstrate functionality.
• Modify Access data base to print Hazardous waste manifest reports conforming to current regulatory requirements.

This position will require the individual to work a 4 day, 10 hour, day-shift. Limited overtime work (nights and weekends) may be required. This job will be based at The Geysers power plant near Middletown, California.
