The ERC's mission is to shift public opinion of the queer community on campus and in the local area from tolerance to acceptance. The ERC creates a hub for students to learn about events and organizations on campus.
The ERC and other student organizers from other areas of campus have long known that the lack of communication within the queer community at HSU has been a struggle in planning and making our efforts and needs more visible.
Join us every Friday in SH117 from 3-4:30 for Q-Talks, an informal group working to bridge communication for all queer organizations and organizers. You need not be currently engaged in "activism" work or an organization to join. We are currently discussing April becoming HSU Q-Month, the planning for the QRC, and event planning in general for many different organizations.
Are you an LGBTQA or Ally identified student looking for resources available on campus? Check out our 2013 resource zine HERE! Physical copies of the zine can be found in the ERC and at any tabling event the ERC attends! If you have questions about resources or how to connect with the queer community at HSU, use our conact feature!
