Sexland is a sexual health event that focuses on exposure to new ways of thinking about sex and sexuality while validating sexual experience and diversity through a lens of enthusiastic consent. This year is a celebration of bodies, focusing on body positive, sex positive education!

Represent your country at the International Cultural Festival, an annual event celebrating the various cultures that make up HSU.

Mad River Beach Cleanup

Help keep our oceans healthy and clean by picking up and recording trash with the HSU Marine Debris Program. Cleanups are held once a month at locations throughout Humboldt County.

The Feb. 23 cleanup event will take place at Mad River ıeach, with a focus on tsunami debris.

Vipisa Trio

Fulkerson Recital Hall
The Vipisa Trio (Cindy Moyer on violin, Virginia Ryder on saxophone and clarinet, and John Chernoff on piano) performs new music by composers associated with Humboldt State— HSU composition professor J. Brian Post, the Trio’s own John Chernoff, HSU alums Dante De Silva and Halim Beere, and the winner of a student competition, Justino Perez. “The music is all different,” said Cindy Moyer, “so even if it’s all new, there will be something that everyone can enjoy.”
