Always dreamed of flying for fun, as a career, or are you just interested in aviation? Here is your opportunity to take the first step. The Private Pilot Ground School class will provide the student with the knowledge and skills necessary to pass the Federal Aviation Administration written examination for a Private Pilot certificate. This is a beginner's class and no prior knowledge or skill is required. The class will cover aerodynamics, instruments, navigation communications, weather, performance charts, flight operations and other subjects required by the FAA as a foundation for all aspiring pilots. Books and materials will be discussed and may be purchased at the first class meeting. Please bring a highlighter and simple math calculator to class.
