HSU 20th Annual Day of Caring

Join hundreds of students to make a difference in a half day of service to dozens of local agencies! Each year the HSU Center for Service Learning & Academic Internships teams up with United Way of the Wine Country to organize this event, featuring service projects addressing community needs around the county. Projects include gardening, facilities clean up and events set up, trail work, restoration projects, California Coastal Cleanup sites and many more! Transportation and a free thank you BBQ after the service provided.

Guest Artist Serieis "Chinese Music Concert" Zhu De-Hai, voice and Daniela Mineva, piano

Van Duzer Theater
Chinese vocalist and educator explores contrasts and common ground in western and traditional Chinese songs, accompanied by pianist Daniela Mineva.

Born in Beijing, Mr. Zu attended the Xi’an Music Conservatory College and has been a teacher and vocal performer in China. His program at HSU includes Chinese songs (“Jasmine Flower,” “The River Runs Forever”) and familiar western melodies.
