Cannabis vs. Climate Change

Time: 4:00 pm-8:00 pm

Begin celebrating the week of Earth Day 2014 with a multimedia presentation and hemp seed reception. Join Paul von Hartmann for the introduction of a new book and digital video documentary film entitled "Cannabis vs. Climate Change" will be introduced on Sunday, April 20th, 2014 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the John Van Duzer Theater.

Paul J. von Hartmann, Cannabis scholar, international photojournalist, filmmaker and HSU alumnus (B.A. Special Major, 1978) will introduce objective science and an ecological perspective on hemp agriculture, that affords time-limited, achievable strategies for addressing climate change, food security, sustainable energy and health. The timely shift in Cannabis values, from "illegal" to essential, is ultimately "good news" for our planet, ourselves and future generations.

The event is wheelchair accessible and presented with the gracious sponsorship of Farms and Gardens for the Disabled, a 501(c)3 non-profit enabling project based in Platina, California.
