In 2013, Mock joined the board of directors at the Arcus Foundation, a leading global organization advancing social justice and conservation issues.

In 2014, Mock was interviewed on CNN’s "Piers Morgan Live," "The Colbert Report," and "Melissa Harris-Perry," and has hosted segments for "HuffPost Live" and "Pivot’s" "TakePart Live."

Besides her many honors and awards, Mock was also featured in the HBO Documentary "The Out List" as well as having appeared in the "Washington Post," "The New York Times," NPR, Rookie, Salon, Slate, Feministing, Colorlines, and elsewhere.
