Water Resource Colloquium: Coffee Clearwater Revival

Dr. Andrew Stubblefield will give a presentation on his recent sabbatical in Nicaragua where he worked with the Catholic Relief Services on water quality issues around coffee plantations. Dr. Stubblefield will also talk about water quality in regards to certified Fair Trade coffee coming out of Nicaragua.

Refreshments provided by The Water Resource and The Natural Resources clubs.

San Francisco Scottish Fiddlers

Picture a stage filled with 80 fiddlers backed by piano, drums, cellos, guitars, harps, and even a harmonica, projecting a sound as lively as a dance band and as majestic as a symphony orchestra. Front this merry group of music-makers with Scottish master fiddler Alasdair Fraser, whose humor, passion and charismatic playing set the tone, and you’ll have a rough idea what it’s like to attend a concert with the Scottish Fiddlers—an evening packed with Celtic tunes, songs and dances.
