FAFSA 2017-18

As you now know the 2017-18 FAFSA submission opened on October 1, 2016. The priority deadline remains the same, March 2, 2017. However, we highly recommend submitting as soon as possible!

Fall 2017 Graduate Orientation

The Fall Graduate Orientation is scheduled for Thursday, August 17th 2:30 – 4:30 in Goodwin Forum (NHE 102). All new graduate students are strongly encouraged to attend. Returning graduate students are also welcome.

Summer 2017 Graduation

Courtesy Format Review is REQUIRED for Summer 2017 graduates. Send in your thesis or project draft to cfr [at] humboldt [dot] edu by Monday, June 26th, 2017.

Deadline for initial submission of theses and projects to Digital Commons @ HSU is Tuesday, July 18th, 2017.

Final Thesis and Project Digital Commons @ HSU Approval Deadline: Tuesday, July 25th, 2017.

**There is a new final submission process for thesis/projects beginning Fall 2016. For more information click here to navigate to the thesis/project submission page on the menu to the right. Also see our video guide to the submission process!

The thesis and project submissions and both the courtesy format reviews and final format reviews are now handled by the Scholarly Communications department in the Library. For questions regarding these areas, please contact Kyle Morgan at kyle [dot] morgan [at] humboldt [dot] edu or 707-826-5602, or check the thesis/project submission page on the graduate studies website here http://www2.humboldt.edu/gradprograms/node/71.

All thesis and project guidelines, the graduate student handbook, and all graduate forms will still be handled by the Office of Graduate Studies, and can be found online at http://www2.humboldt.edu/gradprograms/thesis-format-requirements. Questions concerning these topics can be answered by email from hsugrad [at] humboldt [dot] edu, over the phone at 707-826-3949, or in person in Siemen's Hall 217A.

Graduate Studies is not available for consultations after Monday, April 17th, 2017 for Spring Graduation.
