HEIF Student Staff
The HEIF hires many students to assist in the management, routine operation, and project development phases. These opportunities allow students to network with staff and faculty, learn technical information, and gain valuable experience relevant to nearly any career path.

HEIF student assistants are involved in routine operations and include:
Outreach Manager
This individual works on all promotional material to ensure the student populace is aware of what HEIF is doing and of current opportunities to get involved in HEIF. Updating social media and tabling regularly fall into the Outreach Manager duties, as well as making class announcements, emailing campus stakeholders, chalking, and authoring anouncements for a variety of campus outlets. The HEIF website is also a platform kept updated by the position.
Development Manager
This individual coordinates Development team progress, helps coordinator Committee meetings and takes meetings minutes, and assists with a wide variety of other projects as needed.
Development teams
Development teams traditionally work for a semester at a time producing feasilibity studies for project ideas previously submitted by other students and approved for further research by the Committee. These teams generally range from 1-3 students per team, and the number of teams per semester varies each year.
