College Fairs
Alumni Hit The Road
Every year Humboldt State hits the road to recruit new students at college fairs. These potential students enjoy hearing from alumni who tell them about all the great things HSU has to offer—like access to amazing outdoor settings, hands-on learning, and incredible professors.
Here’s a big thank you to all the alumni volunteers who helped out this year: Clara Trigg Parker, Frances Harris, Mike Voss, Michael Sagehorn, David Kalb, Ona Lee Kimber, and Steve Aberlee.
Representing HSU in your hometown is easy. All you need to do is answer questions or share info on social media. Learn more online.

Welcome Potential Students at HSU's Spring Preview: March 25 & April 1
Forever Humboldt is seeking local alumni interested in participating in a panel to address potential students and their parents attending Spring Preview. The event takes place on Friday, March 25, and Friday, April 1, from 1:45 to 2:30 p.m. at HSU. Alumni are asked to share memories of HSU, plus tips to succeed in school, and what to expect after graduation. To learn more, email forever@humboldt.edu.
Share Your Story
Humboldt State’s student-run radio station is seeking alumni to share their experiences as KRFH DJs. Share your testimonials, memories of your time on air, or just great stories. Contact the station’s staff at krfh@humboldt.edu or catch up on Facebook.
Serve-a-Thon
Every year on César Chávez Day (March 31), Youth Educational Services volunteers serve the local community. This year, nearly 150 volunteers will spend a day of service at the Potawat Community Garden.
The Serve-a-Thon is also an annual fundraiser to support YES’s student-led volunteer community programs, including Art Recreation Theater, Golden Years, and more.
If you would like to make a donation in support of the 2016 Serve-a-Thon, visit the YES program giving page. To learn more about YES, visit the program online.
