LACO Associates is a Northern California-based engineering firm that is overflowing with HSU alumni. Recently, business manager Kara Clower (‘05, Liberal Studies) wrote to Forever Humboldt to share some impressive stats: More than 30 percent of the firm’s staff and 80 percent of its owners are HSU alumni. When asked what helps a new HSU grad stand out from the pack, Clower answered: “Interships! They provide the hands-on experience and supports the classwork,” she says. Current students can inquire about internship opportunities by emailing email@example.com.
