Forever Humboldt Crabs Game & Picnic

Alumni at the crabs game

It was a great day at the ballpark for the more than 100 HSU alumni, family, and friends who came out for the Forever Humboldt Crabs Game & Picnic, Friday, June 28 at the Arcata Ballpark. The Humboldt Crabs put on a good show, beating the California Expos 12-2.

On his first official day in office HSU President Tom Jackson, Jr. joined the festivities, with the Crab Grass Band giving a special performance of the Humboldt fight song for him.

Thank you to everyone who joined us!

Student Send-Off Picnics

A Graduate celebrating

Join Forever Humboldt as we help send incoming HSU students off to college at one of the four Student Send-Offs. This is a great opportunity to meet the HSU community and share your experience and knowledge.

HSU alum Sandra Tamayo (‘03, International Studies) attended the 2017 Los Angeles Student Send-Off Picnic and enjoyed sharing her experience at HSU with the incoming freshmen.

“I was happy to be a part of this event in Los Angeles as an aunt to a freshman (soon to be sophomore) and as an alumna. I had a terrific time connecting with incoming students and their families and learning about their reasons for choosing HSU. It was also a wonderful opportunity for me to share my experiences and special memories of my time at HSU.”
