Donors Create $4,000 HSU Scholarship for Fortuna High School Grads

HSU alumnus Dan Phillips and his wife, Cindy, have made a gift of $250,000 to support Fortuna High School graduates who attend Humboldt State University.

Traveling the World with Anthony Bourdain

Josh Ferrell ('05, Journalism) remembers the HSU community for teaching him how to take care of others, build relationships, and run logistics. Taking his skills on the road as a producer, Ferrell worked with Anthony Bourdain on "No Reservations" and "Parts Unknown" from 2011-2018.

Forever Humboldt at Pastels on the Plaza

Each October, artists support Northcoast Children’s Services through the annual fundraiser, Pastels on the Plaza. This year, current Art student, Jennie Riess, drew the Forever Humboldt square.
