Latin American Studies

Develop the professional skills and gain the knowledge necessary to establish a lasting and successful relationship with a public or private sector organization in Latin America and/or in the U.S. Explore diverse areas of study related to the region, including anthropology, archaeology, art, dance, economics, film, geography, history, language, literature, muralism, music, politics, and popular cultures. This Concentration welcomes students with specific goals in the international field as well as those who would complement this degree with a second major or minor, especially in technical areas: appropriate technology, computers, natural resources, environmental studies, etc. Finally, this Concentration provides the basic foundations for graduate work in Latin American Studies.
