In 2009, Humboldt State University as part of the CSU Graduation Initiative set a goal of increasing the graduation rate for underrepresented minority (URM) students by 15% and 12% for rest of students by 2015. To reach these goals, it is imperative that HSU measure retention rates on a yearly basis and look for discernible patterns in working towards achieving these goals. The current report is the fourth edition of this reporting series and contains several insights into retention and graduation rates.
