Once you've installed the wireless printers, follow these instructions to print your documents from your laptop. You must be on the campus wireless network; you will not be able to print from home via the campus wireless network.
To install printers on your Mac laptop, follow these instructions:
Step 1: Download the printer installer. Save the file when prompted. Take note of where you've saved it; by default, it will be in your Downloads folder.
If you are authorized to charge printing to a grant or department, each time you print you'll have the option to either charge your print to a grant or department or to your personal C-Card funds. If you're interested in charging your printing to a grant, but it isn't set up yet, see How to Request Grant Printing.
If you have work that needs to be printed in a computer lab and would like to have it charged to either a grant, a project, or your department, you should request grant or department funded printing.
Once you've installed the wireless printers, follow these instructions to print your documents from your laptop. You must be on the campus wireless network. You will not be able to print from home.
NOTE: We strongly recommend that you be near the printers when you print. Thousands of pages go through these printers each day, and if your document is left on the printer for more than a few minutes, it might accidentally be picked up by someone else. Refunds will not be granted if your document disappears.

You can print over the wireless network to the printers in Library 122 and BSS 316. Your C-Card will be charged the same as though you were printing from a computer lab. Use the links below to learn how to install the printers and print over the wireless network.
