Two operators share duties to manage the HSU switchboard at (707) 826-3011, ensuring service is continuously available from 8am until 5pm Monday-Friday. HSU Operator Services can provide assistance with directory services, directions to and around campus, and general information about campus events, departments, locations, and the academic calendar. If you have trouble finding the information you need, the campus operator will locate a University staff member who can help. In case of emergency, the operator can also connect you directly to the University Police Department.
Please note that, if you receive a call from the HSU campus, you will see only the University's main number as the caller ID. To reconnect with that person, you'll need either their full name or their extension number.
