Moodle Jul 19 2015 - 08:00 Moodle Users Moodle will be down from 8-12 Noon this Sunday, July 19th for maintenance and patching during our regular service window. Due to the amount of patching required it will most likely take the entire service window to complete. Please plan accordingly.

Other Jul 7 2015 - 15:42 Users who use ssh, scp, or sftp on users and www2 A load balancer upgrade during the last maintenance window disabled all ssh, scp, and sftp services going through it. Barracuda had to add missing fields in the back-end database, which are not accessible by the customer.
Campus Phone System Jul 8 2015 - 17:00 Phones in various locations around campus TNS experienced some issues with PBX project currently happening on campus and a re-load is necessary. **Update 12:30 AM 7/9/2015** This reload was unsuccessful and campus phone service is degraded. ITS is working with our phone switch support vendor to provide a functioning backup configuration and restore services. Most on-campus dialing and outbound calling still works. Some inbound calling works, but most inbound calls produce a non-working number error. We are working with AT&T to resolve that routing issue as well. *** Update as of 2 AM on 7/10/15, Service has been restored. There may be the need for another outage this evening.
Account Settings Jul 8 2015 - 06:30 People trying to get into Account Settings to do password resets The password expiration notification process was determined to not be working correctly. A server reboot to apply a configuration change is needed to fix the password expiration notification process. During the reboot Account Settings will be unavailable (this includes the ability to change passwords).
CMS/Peoplesoft Jul 1 2015 - 18:00 Anyone who uses Student Center, Faculty Center, Human Resources, Student Records, Student Financials, Financial Aid, Admissions During our regularly scheduled maintenance window the following items will be installed: MP 17.00, 2 E-Trans modifications (1 exception, 1 non-exception), a u.achieve Batch fix, a Maxient Data Extract fix, 1 HUM_HR03_SPF Employee TimeSheet change modification, and an SDRC fix.

Other Jun 15 2015 - 09:42 User attempting to log into Account Center Users are receiving the following error upon attempt to authenticate: P_ValLogin OTHERS logn Exception - SQLCODE=-31203 ORA-31203: DBMS_LDAP: PL/SQL - Init Failed. UPDATE 1: Oracle communication through the load balancer was degraded. Reason behind this is still under investigation but Account Center has be changed to consume directly from an LDAP server.

Google Apps - Mail Jun 9 2015 - 11:33 Those using campus gmail Google reports: "We're investigating reports of an issue with Gmail. We will provide more information shortly. Users will notice email delivery delays affecting both inbound and outbound messages." UPDATE #1 12:04pm: Google reports: "Gmail service has already been restored for some users, and we expect a resolution for all users in the near future. Please note this time frame is an estimate and may change. A subset of messages is still being delivered by our servers." UPDATE #2 12:41pm: Google reports: "The problem with Gmail should be resolved. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience and continued support. Please rest assured that system reliability is a top priority at Google, and we are making continuous improvements to make our systems better. All affected messages have now been correctly processed."

Other May 31 2015 - 13:00 All Nolij Users During file system expansion, Nolij unexpectedly forced a file system check, which delayed the file system expansion by 30 minutes, and forced the file system expansion into off-line mode. The file system expansion has finished.
Moodle May 31 2015 - 12:37 Moodle users An upgrade to moodle had issues that resulted in an error message after successful login. This issue has been resolved by reverting to the previous version of the software.
