CMS/Peoplesoft Feb 29 2012 - 07:21 Students and Staff who are making / viewing CashNet transactions ***** UPDATE: ***** Connectivity has been restored and vouchers are posting to PeopleSoft. The root cause was a problem with a VPN Concentrator (connection equipment) at Cashnet. ***** Cashnet's connection to Unisys is experiencing intermittent connectivity loss, which is preventing Cashnet from posting payments to Peoplesoft. Note: CMS Central posted this unplanned outage 2/29/2012 9:47 AM. Next update will occur 2/29/12 at 6:00 PM or earlier if resolved.

CMS/Peoplesoft Feb 24 2012 - 07:57 *** UPDATE *** Service was availabe at 9:21AM <Some CFS (PeopleSoft Finance) users> Common Financial System (CFS) Production is having some access issues. Some campus users will not be able to log into or access the system at this time. CMS Central plans to send out a status update at 1:00 pm or sooner if the problem is resolved.

CMS/Peoplesoft Feb 20 2012 - 12:00 Anyone wanting who made a payment to CashNet and wants to see the payment reflected in PeopleSoft HCM *** UPDATE *** Connectivity between CashNet and PeopleSoft HCM has been restored and vouchers are posting to PeopleSoft. The root cause was a problem with a VPN Concentrator (connection equipment) at Cashnet. <Cashnet's connection to Unisys is down and it is preventing Cashnet from posting payments to Peoplesoft. Students and staff will still be able to reach Cashnet to view bills and submit payments – however -Payments will be held in queue in Cashnet and will post to PeopleSoft when the connection is re-established.>

Network Folders Feb 12 2012 - 15:59 All Network Folders Users A CNRS student was running project related processes, that taxed the storage on the main Folders server enough for Samba connections (U: drives, etc.) to timeout. The system has recovered at this point. A KBox ticket for CNRS-ITC has been issued to "talk" to the user.

Campus Web Sites Feb 1 2012 - 13:54 All Users trying to connect to Central Web Apache had 170 threads, the server was swapping, and MySQL was not responding. Restarted Apache, and MySQL. ITS Sysadmins are looking into the root cause. It appears, that the buggy /events site was over-taxing MySQL. An known bug-heavy feature on the /events site will be disabled while the entire site is being debugged.
