KBOX Ticketing System Jan 26 2016 - 18:00 Any attempting to log into the KBOX ticket system to view or create tickets. The KBOX is not currently sending email notifications about changes to tickets. We need to reboot the system in order to correct this problem. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Update: Kbox has been rebooted and is available.
CMS/Peoplesoft Jan 27 2016 - 18:00 Anyone who uses Student Center, Faculty Center, Human Resources, Student Records, Student Financials, Financial Aid, Admissions During our regularly scheduled maintenance window, the following items will be installed: a retrofit to MP 19.00, MP 19.01, CollegeScheduler upgrade to Planner 3 and an update to the Satisfactory Academic Progress modification.

Campus Data Network Jan 20 2016 - 08:06 Network Users at Marine Lab Trinidad Update # 1 - Service was restored about 8:45am. And has been stable since. **** Contacted Suddenlink. They have confirmed that their services are down in that area. They are working on it. No official time of restoration, but they say it will most likely be 3 to 4 hours at a minimum.

During this outage period, we will be upgrading the Portal production environment to version 8.54.12.

Moodle Jan 4 2016 - 08:00 Anyone that uses Moodle for courses on learn.humboldt.edu learn.humboldt.edu was down for patching Moodle, various Moodle plugins and performing database maintenance. The required maintenance went really well and we finished ahead of schedule. We thank you for your patience.

Computer Labs Dec 18 2015 - 16:30 Users of ArcGIS, ERDAS, ATCOR 2013, MatLab (ITS Interdisciplinary Labs), Minitab, and SPSS There was a change that required a port to be specified through the firewall. A reboot is needed to test functionality.
CMS/Peoplesoft Dec 16 2015 - 22:05 Anyone who uses Student Center, Faculty Center, Human Resources, Student Records, Student Financials, Financial Aid, Admissions ITS needs to add memory to the system to enable PeopleSoft to keep functioning, which must be done at the earliest opportunity. That opportunity comes at 10pm tonight, Wednesday December 16. PeopleSoft is expected to be down for no more than 30 minutes while the memory is added; myHumboldt should remain available, but if it does need to come down as well, a list of accessible applications and links to get to them will be displayed automatically.

CMS/Peoplesoft Dec 4 2015 - 17:00 Anyone who uses Student Center, Faculty Center, Human Resources, Student Records, Student Financials, Financial Aid, Admissions During this PeopleSoft (HCM) outage starting today Friday, Dec. 4th at 5 p.m., CMS is performing a mandated upgrade to the underlying PeopleTools code. At the completion of the upgrade, we will be on version 8.54. **UPDATE: The upgrade is complete. PeopleSoft (HCM) is available including Faculty Center and Student Center.

Other Nov 25 2015 - 18:00 All users of myHumboldt Portal. This outage is required to upgrade the underlying database to Oracle 12c for the PeopleTools and Portal upgrade which is scheduled for the first weekend in December. UPDATE: Upgrade has been completed and the service is available.

Wireless Network Nov 22 2015 - 05:00 Anyone using HSUWireless-Secure, Eduroam, and HSUWireless A software bug has been identified in the current version of the router software affecting these networks. Vendor recommends upgrade to resolve the issue. ***UPDATE*** Maintenance is complete and wireless networks are available.
