CMS/Peoplesoft Dec 4 2015 - 17:00 Anyone who uses Student Center, Faculty Center, Human Resources, Student Records, Student Financials, Financial Aid, Admissions During this PeopleSoft (HCM) outage starting today Friday, Dec. 4th at 5 p.m., CMS is performing a mandated upgrade to the underlying PeopleTools code. At the completion of the upgrade, we will be on version 8.54. **UPDATE: The upgrade is complete. PeopleSoft (HCM) is available including Faculty Center and Student Center.

Other Nov 25 2015 - 18:00 All users of myHumboldt Portal. This outage is required to upgrade the underlying database to Oracle 12c for the PeopleTools and Portal upgrade which is scheduled for the first weekend in December. UPDATE: Upgrade has been completed and the service is available.
Other Nov 23 2015 - 12:00 Anyone who uses DARS. Between noon and 5 p.m. today, DARS will be upgraded to version 4.3. For details, see the campus announcement dated 11/18.
KBOX Ticketing System Nov 21 2015 - 23:00 Help desk and ticketing system users We will be making another attempt to upgrade the ticketing system. The issue we encountered previously is a known issue that will be addressed this weekend. Update: The ticketing system has been upgraded and is available.
Wireless Network Nov 22 2015 - 05:00 Anyone using HSUWireless-Secure, Eduroam, and HSUWireless A software bug has been identified in the current version of the router software affecting these networks. Vendor recommends upgrade to resolve the issue. ***UPDATE*** Maintenance is complete and wireless networks are available.

Campus Phone System Nov 16 2015 - 14:45 Phone users at Marine Lab Trinidad and those calling the Marine Lab ** Update #3 - AT&T has resolved the issue and Service has been restored. * Update #2 - AT&T is still working on the issue *** * Update #1 - AT&T replaced some equipment and has dispatched a Technician to the site. AT&T continues to work on the issue. Check back for updates. *** TNS has investigated and has a ticket in with AT&T. As soon more information comes in we will report in. When AT&T is able to resolve their issue, our services should be restored.

Google Apps - Calendaring Nov 4 2015 - 08:20 Google Calendar Users "We're investigating reports of an issue with Google Calendar. We will provide more information shortly." Update 1:"Google Calendar service has already been restored for some users, and we expect a resolution for all users within the next 1 hours. Please note this time frame is an estimate and may change." Update 2: "The problem with Google Calendar should be resolved. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience and continued support. Please rest assured that system reliability is a top priority at Google, and we are making continuous improvements to make our systems better."

Network Folders Oct 6 2015 - 08:00 Some people accessing DFS (distributed file shares) ITS is investigating. **Update** This issue appears to be resolved after rebooting one of the DFS servers. Those affected are advised to reboot their systems. Those with laptops may still be affected due to the continuing issue with Direct Access. See the systat regarding this issue for more information.
DFS Sep 30 2015 - 08:00 People trying to get to mapped shares in the following namespaces: EM, fao, hsu, its, OAA, vlab ITS will be doing an Active Directory Upgrade Pre-Phase 3 to make all DFS Namespaces the same type before migrating to the 2012 version in the coming months. This will fix the problem with the older type DFS Namespaces.
