By default, your site will only be available to everybody at Humboldt State University. You'll likely want to change this, for not only does this limit your audience to the HSU community, it also means that the viewers of your site must have taken the ATI training.
On the Create new site in humboldt.edu page, click More Options, and select your desired site visibility. In the example below, we've selected Everybody at Humboldt State University and Also let anyone in the world view this site (make it public).
To make your site "invitation only," click Only people I specify can view this site on the Create New Site menu.
To specify people who can view your site, select More Actions in the upper right-hand corner. Under Site Actions, select Manage Sites. On the left-hand sidebar, select Share This Site.
Click the field Add People to bring up the sharing menu. Enter the email addresses of your desired viewers, then choose access privileges. You can allow viewing, as well as editing privileges (useful for collaboration), or change site ownership. You can also include a personal message which is added to the email notification your viewers will receive. Once you've entered your selections, click Share & save.
