Degree Audit Report (DARS)


The Degree Audit Report for Students (DARS) is a comprehensive academic audit that matches a student’s academic history with his/her degree requirements. Both students and faculty can access DARS reports online at any time through myHumboldt.

Any popular web browser, along with your HSU User Name and Password, can be used to access the DARS.

Accessing This Service



  • Go to myHumboldt
  • Log in with your HSU User Name and Password
  • Select Faculty Center
  • Select Self Service
  • Select Advisement

Using This Service


Once you're in the DARS section of the Student Center:

  • Click the PDF radio button
  • Click the View Audit button (you may need to 'allow pop-ups')
  • To print, click on the printer icon inside your Student Center window.


Once you're in the Advisement section of the Faculty Center:

  • Select View Advisees' Information
  • Find student's name, scroll down to DARS, and click Go
  • Click Submit Report, then OK
  • Click on the Results, then on Refresh
  • When your audit appears, click on View PDF
  • To print, click on the printer icon

DARS (and myHumboldt itself) is protected by a time-out period which logs you out of the application if you have not accessed it for 45 minutes. You'll see a warning message before the system logs you out, at which point you can choose to stay logged in. 

Think security when you log out of an application or myHumboldt and be sure to close your browser to fully quit or exit the application.
