You have four options for receiving one-on-one help with a writing project.

  • 30-minute in-person consultation. Best for drafts that are 3 pages or less, resumes / cover letters / personal statements, brainstorming for shorter essays, quick citation help.
  • 50-minute in-person consultation. Best for longer drafts (4+ pages), more in-depth conversation about your argument, analysis, and organization.
  • Email consultations for feedback within 24 hours of your appointment. 5 pages max. If you submit anything longer, indicate what sections you would like the consultant to focus on. Make an appointment first and then submit your draft using our online submission form: https://www2.humboldt.edu/learning/writing-studio-email-consultation-req...
