Nearly all plants share these characteristics...

Photosynthesis baby! Plants exhale oxygen we can breath. Green chlorophyll absorbs energy from the sun. Plants inhale carbon dioxide. Plants make sugar. Plants Drink Water. Photosynthesis Formula: Carbon Dioxide + Water + Light Energy = Glucose + Oxygen.

Plants have a cuticle ... like weather-proofing on boots. A waxy layer that coats the surface of stems, leaves, and other plant parts exposed to the air. Keeps plant from drying out.

Plants have cell walls ...like our bones they provide support for the plant. A plant cell is surrounded by a rigid cell wall. It helps support and protect the plant.

Plants Reproduce with spores and/or cells.
