Campus Update on Commencement and Dining Access

April 30, 2024 - 7: 56 p.m.

Cal Poly Humboldt will hold a modified in-person Commencement with local ceremonies on Saturday, May 11, 2024. More details will be announced later this week.

All students who have a meal plan, including those who live off campus, are free to use The J, College Creek Marketplace, and the Cupboard dining facilities, which will continue to operate during their regular business hours.

With the hard closure of campus in place, no one is allowed to walk through the center of campus. To access Dining facilities, students must walk down LK Wood to Granite Avenue and back. Housing residents are free to leave and return to campus.

OLLI | September 1st, 2023

Greetings! I am quite thrilled to be writing to you as the new dean of the College of Extended Education and Global Engagement. I am equally excited that the fantastic OLLI program is part of this college.

As an educator for over 20 years, I have seen and experienced the transformative power of education. The joy that comes from the pursuit of new knowledge can captivate, no matter our age. This is the power of OLLI. It opens an expansive door to lifelong learning for those of us over the age of 50 here in the Humboldt community.

OLLI at Cal Poly Humboldt offers an excellent and varied set of courses and meetings with committed instructors and equally committed OLLI members. We are quite proud to offer these opportunities for fulfilling engagement and connection with the world of ideas.

If you are already an OLLI member, thank you. Together with the generosity of the Bernard Osher Foundation, your memberships allow us to continue supporting this vibrant community of lifelong learners. If you are not yet an OLLI member, please consider joining today to begin creating your own learning pathways and to join this wonderful OLLI community.
