Boomer+ Troupe

The Music of Our Lives

Plans are already underway for next year's Boomer+Troupe production, "The Music of Our Lives." (Feb. 16-18, 2018)

Striking out in a new direction from the first two Boomer+ Troupe productions, "The Music of Our Lives" will combine music with personal memories and narratives that all reflect a variety of life passages.

Think about the impact of music throughout your own life. A melody can bring back stirring memories of a first love, a broken heart, a shared laugh with a best friend or a wild adventure. It can put us to sleep at night or help us get the house cleaned! Music touches all of our lives in so many different ways!

Auditions for "The Music of Our Lives" will be on Sat., Nov. 11 at 3 p.m. at The SPACE, located at 92 Sunny Brae Center, Arcata. Bring a song to sing and a short story about the importance of music in your life. No appointment is necessary, and no previous experience is necessary. But you do have to be older than 50!

Troupe members must be able to commit to rehearsals in January and February for the Feb. 16-18 performances.
