2016 SOCIAL JUSTICE SUMMIT CALL FOR WORKSHOP PROPOSALS

Humboldt State University’s MultiCultural Center is calling for dynamic and interactive workshops for the 2016 Social Justice Summit scheduled March 4-5 on the HSU campus. The success of the Summit depends on the level of community participation. 

Deadline for proposal submissions has been extended to Friday, February 12th at 5:00 p.m.

The proposal should include the following: presenter(s) bio(s), title, brief description of the workshop, media needs, and preferred time.

The theme for this year's Summit is

Theory to Action - At the Heart of Social Justice

We encourage workshop hosts to expand on themes such as:

  • Frontline Activism
  • Environmental Justice
  • The Politics of Caring
  • Entitlement & Privilege
  • Racist Cultural Norms
