September 9 | AACAE | 6pm | African American Community Reception - Join us as we gather to celebrate community and the start of a new academic year at HSU. Connect with friends, faculty, students and staff. Food, music, games, and prizes! | KBR |
September 13 | LC@E & MCC | 5-7pm | Latin@ Community Reception - Come to the Latin@ Community Reception, and meet supportive staff, faculty, students, and administrators. Clubs will be tabling, music will be playing, and enjoy a performance by Ballet Folklorico de Humboldt. | KBR |
Starting September 14 (every Wednesday) | MCC | 12pm | Womyn of Color at HSU - This group is held weekly at the MultiCultural Center, and is dedicating to supporting womyn of color on the HSU campus. Come and share your voice and your story in a space that fosters care and support. Coffee and tea will be available, and please feel free to bring your lunch. | MCC |
September 14 | AACAE | 6pm | Moe Spencer Lecture Smoke Screen: Under the Influence of Marijuana Politics & Power. A uniquely talented attorney, Moe’s practice focuses on social justice issues and specifically how the legal system responds to marijuana growers and processors. | KBR |
September 16 | MCC | 5-7pm | ADPI Community Reception/Moon Festival - Join us for the Asian, Desi and Pacific Islander Community Reception and Mid-Autumn Moon Festival. Stories will be shared about the origins of the Mid-Autumn Moon Festival, and traditional activities such as origami making and games will take place. Food will be served. Come and build community and learn about various cultures. | KBR |

September 29 | MCC | 5-7pm | Queer Community Building Reception - Join us in celebrating the queer community at HSU. This is a supportive event and we welcome you to come build community and get to know other students, faculty, and staff. Activities will take place throughout the night, and food and beverages will be served. | KBR |
