Change in Internet access process for short-term HSU guests
Short-term campus guests (parents, prospective students, meeting and conference attendees) can now request Internet access via the HSUGuest wireless network by completing a short registration form. Logon credentials will be sent to them via text message. Usage is capped at 15 days and bandwidth at 1MB upstream and 512K downstream; guests can request an extension to the usage period by going to the Technology Help Desk in person.
This process is designed specifically for short-term campus visitors; Internet access for contractors, consultants, visiting academics, and others working with the University will continune to be provided through guest account administrators in the relevant departments.
