Please join us in congratulating our HSU faculty who have been recognized by the CSU Quality Online Learning & Teaching (QOLT) 15/16 Awards and Recognition Program. Additional congratulations to Armeda Reitzel for receiving the CSU System Award for Communication 100. This formal course review utilized a team approach of three CSU-certified peer reviewers. The CSU will be sharing highlights of COMM 100 at CSU presentations and on the CSU QOLT website.

Background on QOLT

QOLT is a CSU recognition program and an instrument that supports our quality assurance practices at HSU and at the system level. The QOLT Instrument guides faculty in a process designed to evaluate the quality and effectiveness of blended and online courses, as well as to recognize exemplary practices in online learning and teaching. These research-based best practices apply across the learning formats, and we invite you to take a look at the HSU Quality Learning & Teaching (QLT) Best Practices Guide, an adaption of QOLT to use for all courses.
